Gather round readers!

We are very excited today because in this blog we cross an incredible milestone: our 200th post! That’s right. Since the inception of the Hill Engineering blog back in March 2016, we have published 200 times.

Let’s take a look back over the past 7 years of blogging bliss!

It all started with the presentation of our new branding and the groundbreaking for our current facility in Rancho Cordova. Eager to grow into a bigger space with greater online presence, the time was ripe to demonstrate what makes Hill Engineering a global leader in residual stress measurements.

The blog has allowed us to share our knowledge of residual stress analysis, including real-world applications of the measurement techniques we can perform within our laboratory. We love showing our readers how adaptable we are to their specific residual stress measurement needs, and we’re more than happy to help them determine what measurement technique is right for their job.

Beyond measurement capabilities, we’ve also highlighted the tools we’ve developed in-house, such as the fatigue analysis software BAMpF, and our automated tool for designing 2-piece, closed-die impression forgings, Rapid Forge Design™.

But it hasn’t been all about work.

We’ve also enjoyed sharing personal tidbits about new Hill Engineering team members, hobbies, and pets. Lots and lots of pets! You might say our furry friends constitute some of our most important posts!

Suffice it to say, it’s been a real blast sharing 200 blog posts with all you readers out there. But don’t think this means the best posts are behind us! 200 is just the beginning!

From all of us at Hill Engineering, thank you for taking the time to read up on all the happenings in little world of residual stress. And remember, make it happen!
