This week, we’re celebrating five years at our Gold Canal Drive facility in Rancho Cordova, California. Hill Engineering acquired the building in 2016 to meet the rising demand for residual stress measurement, fatigue analysis and design, and residual stress engineering services.
Located only a few miles from our old site, the Gold Canal Drive facility has allowed us the space to grow our capacity while maintaining the same high standard of measurement services. Prior to move-in, we renovated our entire work area, redesigning the facility with a mindset towards our core company values: precision, accuracy, objectivity, independence, communication, innovation, experimentation, collaboration, and flexibility. Although the overall project was handled by a designated group, input from every team member was incorporated to ensure the new space would be functional for all.
Since moving, we have welcomed several team members, begun offering 3D scanning services in-house, updated our microscope systems, and introduced the DARTTM (Device for Automated Residual stress Testing). We continue to develop and deliver innovative methods for material testing and analysis. We never stop looking toward the future, and are excited to see what new opportunities and challenges tomorrow may bring.
If you have any questions about the residual stress measurements or engineering services that we offer, please contact us for more information.
