We would like to welcome Frank Di Cocco as Program Development Manager to Hill Engineering. Frank comes to Hill Engineering with more than 25 years of experience, most recently from Alcoa Technical Center. At Alcoa, Frank was the Manager of Alcoa Defense Aerospace, where he directed government and commercial aerospace programs focused on developing structures technologies. Frank brings valuable experience leading large, multi-year aerospace programs as a prime government contractor and managing diverse teams of OEM and technical specialists like Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, BAES, and Northrop Grumman.
Prior to Alcoa, Frank served as the Lead Orbiter Design Engineer at Rockwell Aerospace and Lockheed Space Operations at the Kennedy Space Center. Additionally, he held other Materials & Process Engineer positions in which he was responsible for maintaining and repairing the shuttle orbiter fleet.
Frank brings a wealth of valuable experiences to Hill Engineering that will be significant as we continue grow as an organization. Frank’s extensive experience in the materials industry will be instrumental as Hill Engineering develops new programs related to: fatigue analysis, machining distortion, residual stress analysis, and residual stress in welding.
As the Program Development Manager at Hill Engineering, Frank will support our partners by linking Hill Engineering technologies with opportunities to solve structural materials challenges that arise in design, manufacturing, and operations.
