The end of 2017 at Hill Engineering had a couple fun family events. When we’re not measuring residual stress, we are actually a pretty lively bunch that enjoys a variety of activities.
Some of the events this past year that Hill Engineering held were a day of bowling and laser tag, a company picnic at a local park, and an after-work board game night. Towards the end of the year, things got a little more competitive with a couple rounds of mini-golf. To mix things up and add some engineering to the game, some people played with custom 3D-printed golf “balls” that were shaped like eggs.
The final event of the year was the annual Hill Engineering holiday party, complete with our first white elephant gift exchange, a cookie decorating contest, a cookie exchange, and new jackets. The office was decked with lights and garlands, and a couple decorated trees could be found throughout.
After-work and weekend events are a great way to get to know your coworkers – they’re also a way to see who’s the most competitive! Here are a few photos from last year. Stay tuned for this year’s events, I’m sure they will be just as exciting.
