We are thrilled to celebrate Eric Summer’s tenth work anniversary at Hill Engineering! Since joining the team in July 2014, Eric has made invaluable contributions to our design and automation efforts. His journey began in a technical role, and while his core responsibilities have remained the same, Eric has become the go-to person for fixing “random stuff” around the office and tackling odd jobs that fall outside traditional roles.

Eric’s creativity and expertise shine through in his work, particularly in his development of the Scanning Profilometer and his involvement in the DART. These achievements have significantly enhanced our residual stress measurement capabilities both in the laboratory and in the field.

What truly sets Eric apart, beyond his technical skills, is his infectious sense of humor. His light-hearted nature and uplifting presence bring joy to the team every day, creating a positive and collaborative environment.

When asked about his future at Hill Engineering, Eric shared that he enjoys the hands-on work he does now and hopes to continue in this role. With a decade of dedication behind him, we look forward to many more years of Eric’s humor, hard work, and innovation. Thank you, Eric, for being a cornerstone of the Hill Engineering team!
