Hill Engineering adds onsite hole drilling to ISO/IEC scope of measurements

Hill Engineering is proud to announce that onsite hole drilling residual stress measurements have been added to our growing scope of ISO/IEC 17025 accredited measurements. These are the same high-quality hole drilling measurements that Hill Engineering is known for, but now with the option of being ISO/IEC 17025 accredited, which may help to meet internal quality requirements of our customers.

Since its inception, Hill Engineering has strived to deliver quality residual stress measurement data to the companies we work with. This mission is what drove us to pursue and receive our initial ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation in 2016. Maintaining an active accreditation gives both us, as an organization, and you, the customer, the assurance that Hill Engineering is providing the highest quality services possible.

Onsite measurements can be advantageous for customers whose parts are too large or delicate to send to us, or for those who are interested in residual stress data at key points in the manufacturing process of their parts. Performing measurements in situ eliminates the need to take parts off the production line, saving time, and making it possible to obtain residual stress data directly after manufacturing processes like heat treatment.

If you are interested in ISO/IEC 17025 accredited measurements, or any of the other residual stress measurements we offer, please contact us.
