Developed by the Department of Defense, the CMMC program is designed to ensure defense contractors properly safeguard sensitive, unclassified information. It verifies compliance with specific cybersecurity standards through tiered assessment levels before companies can handle government contracts.

For Level 2, organizations must assess their compliance with all 110 security requirements in NIST SP 800-171 Revision 2. The self-assessment is required every three years, with annual affirmation of continued compliance.

Clearing our Level 2 self-assessment reflects Hill Engineering’s dedication to protecting information and supporting the cybersecurity requirements of all our customers. As the landscape of cyber threats continues to evolve, we remain committed to maintaining the practices necessary to safeguard sensitive data.
