Legacy Post: A feast of fall festivities (Dec 2016)

The Hill Engineering employees took a quick break from all the residual stress analysis to partake in a few fall-themed festivities this season. We recognize that enjoying quality time together is an important way to strengthen our resolve as a team. What better way to do that than through everybody’s favorite activities: pumpkin carving and food!

The pumpkin carving competition took place the Friday before Halloween. The bravest souls gathered to display their artistic prowess with autumnal vegetation, and the results were pretty impressive. After a couple hours of relentless and intricate knife-work, the last flying pumpkin seed settled and the beautiful portraits were complete. Then, on November 17th, we had our Fall Potluck, which brought out the best of every employees’ cooking abilities. It was a great warm-up for the holiday season, not to mention a fitting precursor to Thanksgiving the following week.
