Welcome Bruce Anderson

We would like to welcome Bruce Anderson to Hill Engineering. Bruce has over 26 years of experience using NX 3-D CAD software. As a Senior Engineer for Hill Engineering, Bruce’s responsibilities will include: overseeing the modification of A-10 legacy product definition to Model Based Definition (MBD) effort at Hill Air Force Base, working with A-10 engineers to develop and implement best practices and policy, providing guidance to subcontractors to ensure proper Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) models are delivered to the government, and working with prime contractors to ensure a quality deliverable to the Air Force. Bruce is also actively involved with implementation and management of Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system within the A-10 community and oversees the MBD (Model Based Definition) design effort on the A-10 Wing Replacement Program.

During his career, Bruce has validated and approved delivery of over 45,000 CAD models for accuracy, completeness and compliance with the A-10 CAD modeling and drawing requirements (ASME Y14.100, Y14.41 and Y14.5). He has extensive experience with the creation of 3D models from 2D drawings to aid in the dispositions for aircraft maintenance and repair. Bruce has experience with development and maintenance of A-10 NX software Modeling Specification for all structural, composite components, subsystems (electrical, hydraulic and mechanical) and assemblies to ensure that methods and procedures are current with industry standards (ASME Y14.100, Y14.41, Y14.5 and MIL-I-31000). He has 10 years of experience in product development of aerospace support equipment and has designed tooling of aerospace parts for Boeing, GE, Rolls Royce, Northrop Grumman, and ATK.
