Welcome Robert Pilarczyk

We would like to welcome Robert (Bob) Pilarczyk to Hill Engineering. Bob has worked in the United States Air Force A-10 ASIP office (Hill Air Force Base) for the past 10+ years, most recently as the group leader of a team responsible for the structural integrity of the A-10 fleet. In this role Bob functioned as the division technical expert in the field of aircraft structural integrity, structural analysis, and fatigue analysis for the purpose of solving unusual and difficult strength, fatigue, fracture, corrosion, and design challenges for the A-10 weapon system.

Bob brings significant experience to Hill Engineering that will be valuable as we continue to support complex engineering programs in a variety of industries. Bob’s detailed understanding of the USAF ASIP process will help integrate Hill Engineering’s capabilities in residual stress, fatigue tests, and fracture and fatigue, within the USAF MIL-STD-1530C damage tolerance framework. Bob’s capabilities in: damage tolerance assessment, force structural maintenance plan development, non-destructive inspection, individual aircraft tracking, support of fracture critical systems, and aircraft teardowns will be extremely valuable to our growing team.

In addition to his work on A-10, Bob has supported other programs including: E-3, AIM-9, C-5 F-16, F-100, B-1, C-130, and F-22. Please contact us today to find out how we can help support you.
